The Lord is the same yesterday, today and forever. This is New Testament truth. But it is eternal truth. The Lord who called, redeemed and set Israel apart is the the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. As such, we can learn much from Israel, the Lord's son by covenant. He saved them by his grace and told them how to live--by way of the Torah. As Christians in the 21st Century, God still tells us, his covenant people how to live.
